Program Description
Go on a hiking tour of these scenic Portuguese Islands in the North Atlantic with Sandy and Gail. Starting their trip roughly 900 miles to the Northeast in Lisbon, they fly to Porta Delgada and visit five of the nine major islands. Highlights were the pursuit of dolphins on San Miguel, running the bulls on Terceira, the rugged landscape on Pico, and the colorful harbor in Horta, an important navy destination during World War 2.
