InSight (2025-EP19) “Loneliness is not just about being alone,” says Marilyn Daily-Blair, director of Salem’s Center 50+. “You can be in a room full of people and still be lonely.” But thanks to a generous $2.7million grant, the Center can double the number of older adults it now serves from 15- to 30,000, with hugely expanded outreach, helping overcome feelings of isolation and loneliness with hundreds of programs, going to where seniors live with it’s WOW (Wellness on Wheels) mobile van.
